Farmer's Market in Croatia
The papers and books on this page were chosen either because they present a unique contribution (e.g. an attempt to analyse the externalities associated with industrial agriculture or the current concentration in agricultural input or food retail markets) or because of their ability to bring together several strands of argument and present issues in a holistic yet still meaningful manner (e.g. the work by Michael Pollan). In addition, some significant international events and meetings have produced documents that outline concepts underpinning a significant number of the discussions of sustainable agriculture (e.g. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). A good source of economic analyses of biodiversity and sustainability generally is the Biodiversity Economics spider website - click here There are no doubt other resources not listed here that are of great value. Additional suggestions for links are always welcomed.
